My name is Aly and I’m the Owner and Creator of Paper and Aly. I have been running my little shop for 6 years now. Like so many, I’ve been a planner since grade school, organizing and collecting stationery and stickers.
I started Paper and Aly with clay charms, glassware and jelly covers. If you have been with me all this time you will remember the hobo weeks jelly covers!! From there I grew with other stationery items such as dashboards, dividers, and desk decor.
Up until last year I was a corporate recruiter in the tech world. I truly enjoy building relationships with everyone and anyone. Talking to individuals and making a small difference in their day makes my day!
Now I currently run my shop full time and as a mommy to 3 kids. I enjoy every part of this community and can never thank all my supporters enough for shopping small with me all these years.
To stay organized, I’m big on prioritizing everything in the morning. Things change by the morning so I may need to shift things around to get more accomplished. I look at my planner every night before bed to help prepare for my next day.
Some advice I give to new planner peeps is to keep it simple in the beginning until you figure out what works for you. If you’re unsure of what size you like, spend minimal money until you find the right size. Then you can build your collection instead of buying everything all in the beginning. It all adds up quickly if you aren’t sure what you like.
