Trisha from A Glittery Life Plans is with us today answering some fun questions! Welcome Trisha!
Q: Please tell us a bit about yourself.
A: Hi! I’m Trisha from A Glittery Life Plans! My shop is 4.5 years old and I’m based in Los Angeles CA. My husband really encouraged me to start my shop and follow this passion and I’m so glad because running my shop brings me so much joy. AGLP is most known for the one size fits most planner kits, the vellum and the faith journaling items. But my shop is full of florals, functionals and fun stickers as well as hobby items like stamps and wax seal supplies. When I’m not working I’m probably gardening, reading, taking a walk, Bible journaling, watching TikTok videos and the above subjects or planning.
Q: How did you come up with your name for your business?
A: Well when I opened my shop I had a pretty decent sized YouTube channel called A Glittery Life. I was in the first wave of beauty YouTubers and I did product reviews, tutorials etc. so I looked at my shop name as another piece to that brand family. But it also just encapsulates how I approach life. Trying to bring beauty, positivity and extra sparkle to the world.
Q: What’s your current favorite planner?
A: I’m switching the the Hobonichi A5 cousin for 2024 and I can already tell I’m going to love it! I’ve spent the past 2 months non stop designing things for the daily section that will help me stay on top of daily planning and all those stickers will be in my shop for Black Friday!
Q: What are your goals for the future for A Glittery Life Plans?
A: Well I would like to keep growing my customer base, and for 2024 I would like to dip my toe in designing some washi and maybe some other manufactured items. I’m a one woman show so I need to come up with some systems that support my shop so I can maintain life balance and shop growth.
Q: What do you like most about what you do?
A: Making friends. I’m so blessed to have repeat customers that I’ve really gotten to know and who I consider friends. I was able to meet so many of them recently at Chicago Planners Conf. and it was really special for me.
Q: We love fun facts! Tell us more about you.
A: I love dill pickles! So you can always find dill pickle potato chips, dill pickle mustard, dill pickle puffs, dill pickle seasoning and of course crunchy Claussen dill pickles in my house!!
